The Axesaurus is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VI. It is a stronger variant of the Hacksaurus with wine-red scales.
Characteristics
Red raging reptiles that run rampant with Hatchet Man, allowing them to hack away and deal desperate damage with their axes. They also bathe the battlefield in fire by igniting their intimidating flame breath and dealing fire damage to all foes. It has made less appearances in the series than its green-scaled cousins.
