The boomerang is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise. It hits all enemies in battle and is usually the weakest boomerang-class weapon in the game.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation
The boomerang was added in the 1996 remake and has an attack bonus of +19. It can be equipped by the Hero, Gadabouts, Magi, Merchants, and Thieves. In the SNES and GBC versions it is found in the first T'n'T board near Romaria, and in android/ios version it is found in a Norvik treasure chest, and can be sold for 412 gold coins.

The boomerang has an attack bonus of +15, and can be equipped by the Hero, all slime recruits, the Man o' war, Powie yowie, Hellion, Minidemon, Cross eye, Flamethrower, and Beastmaster.
It can be purchased in Roundbeck, Faerie Lea, and Fortuna for 400 gold and can be resold for 200.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
The boomerang increases attack by +15 and style by +5, and can be equipped by the Hero, Amos, Terry, and the slime buddies. It can be purchased in the Upper World's Somnia and Port Haven for 420 gold and resold for 315.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The boomerang has an attack bonus of +15 and a style bonus of +5. It can only be equipped by the Hero and Ruff. It can be bought at Frobisher and Greenthumb Gardens in the past for 650 gold and sold for 325.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
The boomerang has an attack bonus of +19. It can be equipped by the Hero and Morrie. It can be purchased in Farebury and Alexandria for 420 gold.
