Item shop

Item shops are where items can be purchased for gold (G) in the Dragon Quest series.

Types of items include medicinal herbs, antidotal herbs, and chimaera wings. On some rare occasions, there is only a single shop, so that the item shop also carries weapons and armour, in addition to items.

Stocking up on items before setting out for the next dungeon (as Sancho is fond of reminding the Hero) means being able to heal and remove status afflictions from the party, allowing the party to stay alive longer.
