Talk:Great Argon Lizard
UCZ or NCZ?
A while back, when I first noticed the move to great argon lizard, I questioned it since the argon part refers to Argonia, a nation in the world of Dragon Quest VIII. When I went to check the name in Joker, however, it appeared in the library as 'Great argon lizard'. While it'd be silly to keep throwing the name back and forth over capitalization, I'm just curious as to whether it should be kept like this or reverted back to not using full capitalization. If bosses are to have the full capitalization, should it be applied to all monsters that have at one point in the series been a boss (such as the boss troll in III or king slime in VII), or just those who first appeared as a boss (like golem and belial)? --PantheonSasuke 17:53, April 15, 2010 (UTC)
I'm probably not fully educated on this as I haven't really played any of the Monsters series games. In my mind, boss names are capitalized when they represent a single enemy/character in a game rather than a species of enemy. Personally, I would say that if it is possible to capture multiple Zomas, for example, in a monsters game that Zoma should still be capitalized. In other words, this would be an exception seeing how Zoma is definitely a unique character in DQ III. Enemies like boss troll and king slime would not be capitalized as they are not unique and appear in the field. In short, I would think most bosses should be capitalized, as most bosses are unique enemy encounters. --Pagoda 18:57, April 16, 2010 (UTC)
