Belial is a boss from Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line.
He is a more powerful version of the Archdemon and the last in a trio of bosses the Luminaries must face as they climb Hargon's tower.
Later games would use the monster as a species instead of a specific individual, similar to his fellow cultist Pazuzu.
