Effect Increases the wearer's Tension at the start of battle.

The Stimulating specs are a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. This eye-catching pair of glasses can give a boost to the wearer's Tension at the beginning of battle.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest X[edit]

The stimulating specs are a face accessory with a defence bonus of +2, a style bonus of +10, and have a 10% chance to boost the wearer's Tension at the start of battle. With accessory synthesis, the defence, style, and chance of increasing tension can be increased slightly. They can be purchased for 6,000 gold from Torneko, who can be encountered randomly in magical labyrinths.

  • In the Offline version of the game, they can be received by exchanging 2 mini medals with the Medal King instead.
