Crafty Sizzer voids 10% of the target's resistance to Light, regardless of whether the damage is caused by a spell, breath attack, elemental attack, or physical attack. It is no innately possessed by any monster but can be added to the list of traits by equipping the mirror armband or mirror belt, which are dropped by saccharine sacksquatches and beleths respectively. The trait combines with the effects of Ultra Crafty Sizzer to ignore 60% of the target's Light resistance.
The effects of this trait can be nullified if the target has the Sizz Ward or Ultra Sizz Ward traits.
Etymology
- The use of the root word Sizz in the English script as the term for the Light element is due to the Japanese root word, gira simultaneously describing fire and blindingly intense light. This is most evident in the The Dark Prince's animation for the Kasizzle spell, which creates a miniature sun to damage enemies.
