Kerfrizz is learned at rank 8 of the Mini Mayoress vocation. It costs 12 MP and launches four volleys dealing 5~10 Fire damage to random monsters before accumulating power at 60 magical might. Once the caster's magical might hits 230 the spell will reach its full potential of 50~55 damage per shot, and the haywire rate is half that of a normal critical hit.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry SkiesEdit
Kerfrizz is used solely by the Metal medley, dealing 36~45 damage if one character is targeted.
Dragon Quest XEdit
Slime stacks and Gem jamborees have also learned to cast Kerfrizz in addition to Metal medleys.
