Tyrantosaurus

From Dragon Quest Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Tyrantosaurus is a recurring monster in the series, and has changed color with its transition into the third dimension, shifting from a dull green to a bright red. It also ditched the axe for a sizable spiked hammer, likely to differentiate it from its brethren, though they prefer the axe due to sentimental reasons.

Characteristics

These towering reptilian tyrants stand well over the top of the tallest man, making them an intimidating sight when encountered deep in the labyrinthine lairs that they love to live in. Wielding worrisome spiked hammers, that whack and smack away at any intruders before belching out a fiery breath to bath adventurer in frying flames. They also often deal out a desperate attack that severely damage opponents, often doing enough to out-right knock them out of action.
