The stainless scrapper is a mechanical monster that was introduced in Dragon Quest VII. It is a more powerful version of the Automaton enemies faced in the Faraday region.
Characteristics
Stainless scrappers are rudimentary looking mechs with simple humanoid-shaped bodies consisting of a torso, four limbs, and a head. Their heads are featureless except for a single, focused and fearless, glowing red "eye". The majority of their parts are bright blue, with their joints and torsos being red and rigid, and they have a green steam engine on their back, which presumably powers them through long battles. They have a variety of green cords connected throughout their body. Stainless scrappers carry a large axe in their left hands and a spiked mace in their right, which they use to strike with much more fury and strength than their other robot brethren.

The stainless scrapper can be found underneath the Dig Site and the Malign Shrine. It has a rare chance of dropping an Automaton heart, allowing a party member to become a Automaton if that heart is taken to Alltrades Abbey.
ProtoMech (プロトキラー Purotokirā)
Stainless Scrapper appears as an A-rank monster of the Inorganic family alongside the Famed Schleiman Tank on its banner.

Trivia
This card's Japanese name, Proto Killer, may imply that it's a prototype model for some of the other similarly named machines in the series, such as the Killing machine.
