The nomadic deel is a piece of clothing in Dragon Quest IX. It is the iconic attire of female Rangers.

Name origin
A deel is a type of traditional clothing that has been worn by Mongols and other nomadic tribes of Central Asia for centuries. This fits with the Rangers' appearance being inspired by the nomadic tribes of Mongolia.
