Darkonium slime

The darkonium slime is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. It is a red variant of the gem slime, apparently made of darkonium.

Darkonium slimes are impervious to all spells, and dodge attacks often. They are very vulnerable to Falcon Slash and basic attacks from the Falcon Blade and Uber Falcon Blade, because they hardly ever dodge these strikes. They can attack normally, hit all party members by squishing them or hitting them with a laser beam, and can cast Multiheal.

One of the slimes that can be rescued, Flan Spinel, appears to be a darkonium slime.
