Hero (Dragon Warrior VII)

The hero from Dragon Warrior VII is the son of Borkano, a fisherman from the town of Fishbel. The hero grew up with his best friends Maribel, daughter of the mayor of Fishbel, and Kiefer prince of nearby Estard, which rules over the island kingdom of Estard is the only land in a vast world covered by ocean.

When the hero and Kiefer explore the nearby Ruins, they discover shards that fit onto pedestals within the ruins. When they find and place all of the shards for a particular pedestal, a map of a foreign island is completed and they are magically transported to that land in the past. Once they are able to free the land, it reappears in the present world. Thus the hero, Kiefer and Maribel head off to find all of the shards and restore the world to its proper form, and to defeat Orgodemir, the evil behind it all.
