The Anemon is a recurrent monster in the Monsters subseries and it was introduced in the original Dragon Quest Monsters 2.
Characteristics
Anemons are plant-like monsters, but this is not totally correct since they are inspired from anemones. Anemons have a main body made from a "vase" (or a can) made from mud, they have a mouth in the lowest part of their body with sharp teeth hanging from its sides and tentacles at the highest part of their body that try to resemble hair.

Anemons can be bred with a combination of any member of the Water family as the base and any member of the Plant family as the mate.
