The Chain Sickle (also known as sickle in earlier games) is a sickle joined to an iron handle by a chain. It can be a powerful weapon. In some games it is classified as a sword.

The chain sickle has an attack bonus of +15. It can be equipped by the Hero and the Prince of Cannock.
Dragon Quest III
The chain sickle has an attack bonus of +16. It can be equipped by the hero, warriors, fighters, clerics, thieves, dealers, jesters, and sages. It can be purchased at Reeve for 320 gold.
