The epic apron is a special item of clothing that first appeared in the Super Famicom version of Dragon Quest III and for many years was exclusive to that game's various remakes. Much later, it was also included in Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]
The epic apron has a defence bonus of +45 and reduces spell damage by 25%. It can only be worn by merchants, and is found at the armor shop in the final form of the Immigrant Town. It can be obtained for 9,900 G and sold for 7,425 G. It only appears in the remake versions of the game.
