The Knife of Papnica is a weapon from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai[edit]
According to legend, the Knives of Papnica have been passed down and were used by heroes from the Papnica royal family. The Knife was made with Papnica's special silver which why is attack power is stronger than a normal knife. The "Sun" Knife originally belonged to Leona who gave it to Dai when they first met. It was destroyed by Dai's Draconic Aura in his second battle against Baran. The "Wind" Knife was stored in the Papnica royal castle, but was given to Dai as a replacement for the broken "Sun" Knife. Dai gave it back to Leona before the final battle against Vearn, where she used it to harm the Dark King.
The "Sea" Knife was carried by the King of Papnica, and was lost when the kingdom was destroyed by Hyunckel's Undead Legion.
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds[edit]
The Knife of Papnica (Sun) appears as a 4-star Slash-attribute sword. It raises Slash damage by 15%, and teaches Dai the Avan Strash technique. It can be gained through the Limited gacha and Beginner Quests.
Visually, Dai (Delmurin Island outfit) is shown wielding this knife.
Dragon Quest of the Stars[edit]
The Papnica Knife appears as a 5-star weapon in the first part of the Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai collaboration event. It starts with +43 ATK at Lv1, but upgrades to +104 ATK at Lv2. The dagger deals more damage against creatures from the insect family. It can be obtained as a drop item by repeatedly clearing specific event dungeons. Its main skill is Earth Slash, an Earth elemental attack that deals 460% power against Material-type enemies, 380% power against all other types.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
The Papnica Knife appears as an S-rank sword that is acquired from the Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Medal Exchange - : The Adventure of Dai Special Battle - All-Out War! Demon Army Commander Hadlar (Hard difficulty or higher). It grants 45 HP and 11 ATK, with stat boosts to Avan Strash, Physical Power, and either a massive Super Effective Physical Attack boost (Rainbow roll) or several stat boosts (Gold roll).
Dragon Quest Walk[edit]
The Papnica Knife appears as a 5-star weapon in the gacha during the collaboration event with Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. Initially, it has the Flame Slash skill. It then gains Earth Slash at level 10, Wave Slash, at level 13, Avan Strash at level 20, and Dragon Crest at level 30. Dragon Crest increases attack and defense power and adds the lightning attribute to Avan Strash.
Although it has "knife" in its name, it is classified as a one-handed sword rather than a dagger.
Puzzle & Dragons[edit]
The Knife of Papnica appears as a 8-Rarity, Light-Attribute, Healer-Type Assist evo for Leona. Its Active Skill doubles Light attacks, health recovery, and orb move time for one turn. It also fully recovers unmatchable orb status and awoken skill bind status.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius[edit]
The Knife of Papnica (Wind) appears as a reward for the "Decisive Battle at Sovereign Rock Castle!" event. It grants +168 ATK and increases physical evasion by 10%.
