Cool Breath is learned by [[Shelley]] at Level 5. Other characters can obtain this technique by advancing to rank 2 of the {{Dragon V}} vocation or rank 5 of the [[Monster Master]] vocation. On the enemy side, it can be used by [[Dreamaera]]s, [[Shadow]]s, and [[Sculptrice]].

Cool Breath received a substantial boost in the [[Nintendo 3DS]] version, hitting for 30~45 damage. In the original [[Sony PlayStation]] version, it is learned by reaching rank 4 as a Monster Masher or rank 3 in the {{3DS}} version, as well as rank 3 as a [[Drake slime (vocation)|Drake slime]].
