The '''bronze knife''' is a recurring knife in the {{DQSeries}}. It is a simple dirk found early in the game, typically designed as a stopgap for characters who cannot wield heavier weapon before acquiring specialized weapons.

The bronze knife has an attack bonus of +8. It can be equipped by [[Mage]]s, [[Thief|Thieves]], and [[Gadabout]]s. It can be purchased from [[Reeve]] for 80 gold and sold for 60 gold.

The bronze knife has an attack bonus of +12. It can be purchased for 150 gold in [[Roundbeck]] during the first generation. [[Bianca]], [[Nera]], the [[Hero's daughter]], [[Harry]], and various monster companions can equip it. Harry joins the party with one equipped. Bronze knives can also be dropped by [[Wax murderer]]s and [[Wickerman|Wickermen]].
