The character Brass is a friendly Lump shaman who is [[Dai]]'s adoptive grandfather who helps train him and tries unsuccessfully to teach him magic. He was once a high-ranking servant of the Dark Lord [[Hadlar]], but after Avan defeated him, Brass and other monsters started living peacefully on Dermline Island. Brass was portrayed as having red skin like his counterpart from the games, but in the 2020 anime, his skin color was changed to light grey instead. | The character Brass is a friendly Lump shaman who is [[Dai]]'s adoptive grandfather who helps train him and tries unsuccessfully to teach him magic.
