In Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, Kiefer rejoins the party as a guest during the boss battle against Marshal Lourgh. As a guest party member, he has the Guardian vocation, which is also unique to him like Heir Apparent while he was a controllable party member. He has access to much more powerful skills, among them Flamesplitter, Sword Dance, and Gigaslash. Before returning to the present to face Orgodemir, the player is given the option to have Kiefer rejoin them for the final battle; should the player accept, he will be a guest character in the Cathedral of Blight. If the party ventures outside of the Cathedral, he will leave the party temporarily until they return. If the player rejects his offer, the dungeon will be progressed through without him. | In Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, Kiefer rejoins the party as a guest during the boss battle against Marshal Lourgh.
