The Golem is a monster class that is available in the game Dragon Quest VII.

Description[edit]

The Golem offers increases in strength, resilience, and Max HP and drops in all other categories. Despite these reductions, the Golem's incredible elemental and status resistances more than make up for the loss; at rank 8 the Golem will have strong resistance to all ailments but sap, and weak resistance to all elements but fire breath, ice breath, rock-based skills.

Requirements[edit]

The Golem class requires a character to master both the Rockbomb and Berserker classes. The player can also obtain a Golem heart from the Golemugas in the Cave to Yet Another World.

  • In addition, the Golem boasts a higher Critical Hit ratio than most vocations, being calculated as Rank 1 = 1/64, 2 = 1/64, 3 = 1/64, 4 = 1/32, 5 = 1/16, 6 = 1/16, 7 = 25/256 (~1/10), 8 = 1/8
