Head-Butt Charge is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It delivers a powerful headbutt that knocks back enemies away from the user while dealing damage.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest: Shōnen Yangus to Fushigi no Dungeon[edit]

Buchikamashi is a skill for monster companions that attacks an enemy in front of the user and knocks them back three squares away. If the target hits an obstacle, it inflicts 5 damage. It is known by Boss troll, Dragstar, and Gigantes naturally and can be learned by Stone golem at level 10 and King slime at level 15.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Head-Butt Charge can be learned by King she-slime at level 56 and costs 46 MP to use. It inflicts moderate martial damage to all enemies in a fan-shaped area and knocks them back two spaces away from the user. Upgrading the ability increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use. King she-slime can also learn the perk Head-Butt Charge Stance through Talent Blossoming, which allows it to automatically counter with Head-Butt Charge if attacked by an enemy within a fan area of effect. Many enemies and bosses in high-level stages often have the ability to use Head-Butt Charge.
