Soothing Song is a recurring song in the Dragon Quest series. It restores 20~30 HP to all party members.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake[edit]

The Princess of Moonbrooke can learn Soothing Song by reading a scroll found on the fifth floor of the Northern Dragon's Horn tower. It costs 5 MP and restores 20~30 HP to the whole party.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit]

In the 2024 remake, Soothing Song is learned by Monster Wrangler at level 6 if their wisdom exceeds 24 points.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]

In the PSX version, HealSong is a hybrid ability learned by reaching rank 5 as a Cleric or Bard immediately after completing the other. It is also learned by reaching rank 8 as a Kingfuchsia. In the 3DS version, hybrid skills no longer exist, and Soothing Song is learned normally by reaching rank 7 as a Troubadour.

It is also used by the Water Spirit.
