Abullddon, yo?

There be a monster in Dragon Quest IV called abullddon, yo. It's colored like a moosifer, while moosifer resembles this monster, the hellgiant, in IV. (this name decision might stem from the fact that moosifers can get mad in IV, changing their color. I never actually saw this change, but the NES sprite makes it look like it gets closer to its standard coloring, yo). With master moosifers appearing in Dragon Quest IX, it seems this monster, hellgiant, is the only one of the moosifer variants without a new localization, unless we assume it would take the name of the monster from IV, abullddon. I don't really have any other evidence to support such a redirect, though, since it's sort of a process of elimination dealy, and I highly doubt there'll be a remake of VII. The only way I can see of linking the two is if someone learned the Japanese names of the hellgiant and abullddon monster. If they sync up, then I'd have to say that hellgiant would have to get redirected to abullddon, yo. If not... then I suppose we'd have a monster that might not get a new localization. D'oh.

But hey, no rush or anything, since looking up the Japanese stuff seems like a semi-project. With all the palette swaps there are in IX, you'd think they would've had this guy appear... --PantheonSasuke 06:26, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
