Cinematic pep powers[edit]

Here's a brief list of the cut scene abilities. Because I don't have the game myself I can't double check on the names so I just used filler instead. The effects were cited by Sword & Magic so I know they're accurate.

I don't have a good idea of how to display these yet, but one thing I would like to see in a potential table is a list of the component techniques, like kafrizz and kacrack for the protag and Veronica's fire and ice spell. I'll leave these hear for reference material for when the site reaches a conclusion on how the information should be presented, and everyone should have a say in this. Luminary & Erik[edit]

  • Assault and robbery: 120% flame damage from the luminary to one enemy, secures item as well.
  • Tag-team slash: 24~32 to 356~364 damage to one enemy.

Luminary & Serena[edit]

  • Unknown name: raises party's defence by 100% and magical mending by 50% for 4~6 turns, overrides debuffs to get highest value.
  • Unknown name: Allies recover 40% of max HP, status ailments cured.

Luminary & Veronica[edit]

  • Fire and ice: magical might dependent, minimum is 260~380, max is 704~824. No actual element, but still won't work on metal slimes.
  • Piggy-back ride: doubles the chance of haywire spell for two turns.

Luminary & Sylvando[edit]

  • Sassy stampede: level dependent, hits random enemies eleven times for 11~33 to 55~77 damage.
  • Love shower: 50~70 to 390~410 damage to a group of enemies, chance to paralyses for 1~4 turns.
  • Name unknown: increases party's attack by 50%

Luminary & Jade[edit]

  • The ultimate puff-puff: Luminary's attack is increased by 400% against one enemy.
  • Sudden shock: stuns all enemies for one turn, always works unless the monster is immune.

Luminary & Rab[edit]

  • 0 Zone: eliminates MP cost for one ally for 3~5 turns, will not work with magic burst or kerplunk.
  • Solar flair: 285~315 to 625~655 light damage to all enemies, chance to increase lightning damage by 25% for 46 turns. If enemy is a zombie then damage is increased by 50%.

Luminary & Hendrik[edit]

  • Double double-up: raises both men's attack by 50%, but lowers defence by 75% for 4~6 turns.
  • Horseplaying: 8 random attacks of 50%~70% damage.

Veronica & Serena[edit]

  • Unknown name: restores 25% of max HP to party, restores 8% of max HP and MP to party for 5 turns.
  • Double magic burst: sum of sister's MP times three, no assigned element.

Sylvando & Hendrik[edit]

  • Whose the daddy?: Sylvando and Hendrik's damage is increased by 20% each, with the third slash dealing 440.

Jade & Rab[edit]

  • Puff-puff power up: increases Rab's attack by 50%, defence by 100%, agility by 40%, and deftness by 50%, magical might and mending by 50%, haywire spells by 50%, status ailment resistance up. Rab becomes exhausted after performing this move and is reduced to 1 HP.


Luminary, Erik, & Veronica[edit]

  • Elemental super-sigil, ice: decreases enemy resistance to ice, lighting, and soil damage by 25% for 3~4 turns. 12~60 to 436~484 damage after an enemy's action.

Luminary, Erik, & Sylvando[edit]

  • Stylish sparing: triples evasion and grants a 50% counterattack effect for two turns.

Luminary, Erik, & Jade[edit]

  • Hall-elujah: increases experience and gold by 150%~300%, guarantees enemies will drop rare items, not the common drops. This includes monsters that were killed before using the ability.

Luminary, Erik, & Rab[edit]

  • Elemental super-sigil, fire: decreases enemy resistance to fire, soil, and darkness damage by 25% for 3~4 turns. 12~60 to 436~484 damage after an enemy's action.

Luminary, Erik, & Hendrik[edit]

  • Uber falcon slash: damage dealt to enemy is the sum of 250% of luminary's attack, 200% of Erik's attack, and 150% of Hendrik's attack.

Luminary, Serena, & Erik[edit]

  • Beast mode: Erik's attack is increased by 50%, defence by 100%, agility by 40%, deftness by 50%, and can now act twice per turn for five turns.

Luminary, Serena, & Sylvando[edit]

  • Name unknown: Sylvando will auto-revive when killed, will draw enemy attention to himself, take only half damage, and will always paralyses an enemy who targets him. These effects last for two turns.

Luminary, Serena, & Jade[edit]

  • Brownie boost: raises party's attack by 50%, defence by 100%, and restores HP/MP by 8% for 4~6 turns.

Luminary, Serena, & Rab[edit]

  • Saint's song: revives dead allies, restores 40%~60% HP to all allies, and cures all ailments.

Luminary, Serena, & Hendrik[edit]

  • Unknown name: allows Hendrik to use knight watch.

Luminary, Veronica, & Rab[edit]

Party-wide Zone 0: eliminates MP cost for 3~5 turns, will not work with the usual duo.

Luminary, Veronica, & Serena[edit]

Reliable dual-casting: guarantees Veronica will always echo her spells for 4 turns, magic burst still won't echo.

Luminary, Veronica, & Jade[edit]

  • Refined re-vamp: increases Jade's attack by 50%, defence by 100%, agility by 40% (that's so dumb), and deftness by 50%. Jade is cured of all status ailments, becomes resistant for all status ailments for the ability's duration, and automatically becomes pepped up when the tchnique expires.

Luminary, Veronica, and Hendrik[edit]

Unknown name: 660~780 to 1380~1500 light damage to all enemies.

Luminary, Veronica, & Sylvando[edit]

  • Speed star: increases agility for all allies by 40%, triples evasion for 4~6 turns.

Luminary, Sylvando, & Jade[edit]

  • Metal menagerie: 75% chance to turn all enemies into random metal slimes, changes them into machine-family upon failure. Transformations scale with level for better yields.

Luminary, Sylvando, & Rab[edit]

  • Rose tornado: wind damage to all enemies, double that of Sylvando's attack, with a chance to confuse for 3~5 turns.

Luminary, Sylvando, & Hendrik[edit]

  • Unknown name: raises luminary's attack by 50%, defence by 100%, agility by 40% (dunno why 40 instead of 50), and deftness by 50%. Shield/greatsword guard rate raised to 100%, luminary is also cured of all ailments and pepped up after use. Lasts 4 turns.


Luminary, Jade, & Hendrik[edit]

  • Kaclang missile: damage dependent on Hendrik's defence, minimum is 351~361, max is 1063~1073.

Luminary, Jade, & Rab[edit]

  • Unknown name: 986~346 to 594~654 lightning damage to all enemies. 25% chance to paralysis foes for 1~4 turns, also chance to lower lightning resistance by 25%.

Luminary, Rab & Hendrik[edit]

  • Rockbomb toss: 221~291 base damage, 733~803 max earth damage to all enemies.

Luminary and any three[edit]

  • Giga burst: 497~557 to 2970~3030 lightning damage to one enemy.
  • Unknown name: 690~750 to 1410~1470 lightning damage to all enemies.
  • Yggdragon's blessing: party is immune to damage and instant death for two turns. Other status ailments still work and the effect is vulnerable to disruptive wave.
