The Handrills are a set of claws exclusive to Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies that deals extra damage to members of the Machine family.

Although they look very different from other claws in the game, Handrills will not cause the user to change their attacking animation in any way, resulting in the user still "slashing" with their newfound drill-like appendages, despite the logical inclination to use jabbing motions instead.
