The '''liquid metal armour''' is a recurring suit of armour in the ''[[Dragon Quest (series)|Dragon Quest]]'' series. It is often one of the strongest armor items in its corresponding game and it protects the wearer against magical attacks. An emblem of a [[liquid metal slime]] is featured on the waist, and it is unique amongst the armour based upon metal slimes in that it features two distinct designs: the older has the spikes set on the pauldrons set much shorter and the filigree coloured blue, while the modern matches the others.

It can be equipped by the [[Prince of Midenhall]] or the [[Prince of Cannock]], and can be acquired as the 1st Prize at the [[tombola]] stand that opens up at [[Cloudsgate Citadel]] after you defeat [[Xenlon]] and wish for it. It is theoretically possible to win one for both of the Scions who can wear it, though a 10-roll most commonly gets you 10 green balls ([[Magic Water]]s). The liquid metal armour is a recurring suit of armour in the Dragon Quest series.
