The bronze shield is a recurring shield in the Dragon Quest series which made its first appearance in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation. It is a low-level shield made out of beaten bronze plates.

The bronze shield has a defence bonus of +11 and a style bonus of +7. It can be equipped by Hero, Kiefer, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. It can be purchased in Frobisher in both the past and present for 470 gold coins and sold for 235 gold coins.
