The mythril helm has a defence bonus of +38. It can be equipped by the Hero, Warriors, Priests, Mages, Merchants, Thieves, and Sages and is sold in Tantegel for 18,000 gold. It only appears in the remakes and is the most powerful helmet for several vocations.

The mythril helm has a defence bonus of +32 and a style bonus of +17. It can be equipped by the Hero, Maribel, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. Mythril helms can be purchased from the Divine Shrine and the Sea Dragon for 10,000 gold and sold for 5,000. They can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Buccanham Casino.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The Mythril helm has a Defence bonus of +38. It can be worn by the Hero and Angelo. It can be purchased for gold coins in Empycchu sold for 8,800 gold coins.

- Mythril is an alternate spelling of mithril, a fictional metal created by author J. R. R. Tolkien for his Middle-Earth stories.
