The Bilhaw (Sergeinus and Dark Golem in fan-translations) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest V, it is a stronger, blue-colored variant of the Balhib.
Characteristics
Like Balhibs, Bilhaws are centaur-like, having four legs and two arms, winged, and have thick tails. They also wield axes like Balhibs do. The primary difference in appearance is that Bilhaws are a far less lustrous shade of blue.
Having initially appeared as a bonus dungeon monster, Bilhaws have the strength that comes with such a role. While they tend to pay out a large amount of gold, it is not nearly as much as the amount given by Balhibs.
