The Cloak of Evasion is a recurring armor in the Dragon Quest franchise. This garb changes the frequency of evading attacks from 164 to 12.5% unless otherwise noted below.

Dragon Quest II

The Cloak can be purchased for all characters in Rippleport for 1250G. Equipping it grants +20 defence in the original, and +35 in all other versions. It boosts evasion by 20% in all versions.

Dragon Quest III

Capable of being equipped by all vocation, the cloak of evasion (called the Evade suit in the GBC Version) makes it debut by providing +20 defence and +20% evasion in the NES Version, and +23 defence and +12.5 evasion in all subsequent versions.

It can be purchased for 2,900 gold coins, and sold for 2,175.
