The Stalagosaur, formerly known as Orligon, is a recurrent monster in the Monsters subseries and was introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters 2.
Characteristics
The stalagosaur is a giant stegosaur monster with navy blue skin and navy blue scaly skin and above it a khaki armored skin. Through all its back there can be seen crystal plates that this monster uses as defense. At the end of the tail the plates have merged making it transform into a ankylosaur-like tail, so stalagosaur could protect itself with it. If one looks closely to the ingame model of the stalagosaur it can be observed that the khaki armored skin is quite damaged, since this monster tends to sleep beneath the sand of deserts, this have caused this armor to have been eroded, and thus the why of this damaged appearance.
