Excalipurr is a high level grotto boss in Dragon Quest IX.
Story
In Dragon Quest IX it is revealed, thanks to Fowleye, that Excalipurr is one of the ten monsters that were created by Zenus remains (due to Corvus' attack) and that he used to be his arms.
