The tough guy tattoo has an attack bonus of +8 in addition to temporarily changing their personality to Thug.
Dragon Quest VIII
The tough guy tattoo provides an attack boost of +8. It can be purchased in the Argonian Bazaar for 2,400 Gold and sold for 1,200 Gold.
Dragon Quest IX
The tough guy tattoo has an attack bonus of +6 and a one star rarity. All classes can use it. It is created through the alchemy recipe of 1 terrible tattoo + 1 aggressence. Mega moais, ghouls, claw hammers, and Goreham-Hogg drop it.
