Starburst Throw is a recurring ability in the franchise. It rains arrows of light on to the enemy, dealing fixed damage.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The Hero can use Starburst Throw as a boomerang technique after investing 82 skill points into the associated skill. The skill hits all enemies for 76~84 Bang type damage.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit]
This ability is learned with 42 skill points invested into Boomerang skill. The skill deals Light elemental damage this time, hitting all enemies for 95~115 damage.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]
Erik will learn the skill for 18 points in his Boomerangs skill panel. It costs 10 MP to use, deals 65~75 Light damage, and will reach full power of 125~135 as his magical might grows.
