The Prayer Ring is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. It's designed to recharge MP on use, but has a risk of breaking.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III
The Wizard Ring is a consumable item that recovers MP on use, but breaks after 5-10 uses.
Dragon Quest IV
The Prayer Ring is an accessory that increases defence by 5, and can be used as an item to recharge MP.
Dragon Quest V
In Dragon Quest V, the prayer ring was demoted to a regular item. As before, it recovers MP on use, but has a chance to break.
