The Boorbarian (formerly Broadaxer) is a recurrent monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest VII.

Characteristics

Boorbarians are deranged, tribal looking monsters that are short and slim. Their skin is brown and have a big mouth with navy blue lips and big black eyes. At their head they use the fur of an animal that was previously hunted by them, since this fur is orange it could be a fox, and they use the animal paws as sandals. Boorbarians also wear a little kilt made of dry herbs. They wield a double bladed axe, with a wooden handgrip and, at each extreme of the handgrip, one metallic ax head.
