The Dragon Staff is a powerful staff in the Dragon Quest V. It is one of the strongest weapons available to the Hero, along with the Metal king sword and Flail of destruction.
Appearances
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride
The dragon staff increases the Hero's attack by +125, and will turn whomever uses it as an item in battle into a dragon via the Puff! spell. This status can be used strategically against several enemies, including the the final boss, that breath fire themselves as the character is now immune to extreme heat. The staff is kept in a special room inside Talon Tower, but it's connection to the Zenith Dragon (if any) is unknown.
