Antioxidant is a monster trait that helps the possessor avoid becoming ill.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]

Antioxidant reduces the chance of being poisoned by 10%, stacking with the possessor's innate resistance if any, whether it be through the Tox family of spells or as the bonus effect of another ability. In the latter case the accuracy of the enemy's attack itself isn't affected by this trait, only the poisoning chance. Antioxidant can only be obtained by equipping the amulet of immunity or ring of immunity, dropped by crème caraslimes and king bubble slimes respectivly.

Antioxidant stacks with the effects of Ultra Antioxidant for a 60% chance to avoid envenomation, but is nullified by the Ultra Crafty Poisoner and Crafty Devil traits.
