Fizzy is a mysterious entity who seeks out Monster Wranglers and coaches them to become the best they can be. Her pupils have included the cursed Nadirian prince Psaro, the fierce Debora Briscoletti, and even an incarnation of the legendary Monty.
Appearance and personality[edit]
Fizzy is a vaguely simian-looking creature with small black eyes, a grey nose, lavender skin, cream-coloured fur, and two bulbed antennae not unlike those of a dracky. Her silhouette is similar to her fellow wrangler-coaching mascots Fluffy and Scruffy, but the exact nature of her relationship to her predecessors is unclear.
Fizzy speaks in a stereotypical "Hollywood movie director" style, complete with the use of the words "baby" and "darling" even when speaking to grown men. She frequently refers to Psaro as a rising star and her dialogue is peppered with show production terminology.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]
Sensing Psaro's potential as a Monster Wrangler, Fizzy intrudes upon Monty's attempt to tutor the exiled prince by tackling the old man from the sky. Monty introduces her as an old friend and first-rate Monster Wrangler instructor, and entrusts her with Psaro's education. Fizzy teaches him about battling and scouting monsters and introduces the four seasons, and teaches Psaro the Zoom spell. She then retires to Rosehill Tower, where she remains for the rest of the game. Fizzy's background is never elaborated upon, and no firm connection to either the world of the previous Monsters series entries or the realms of Terrestria, Zenithia or Nadiria is ever established.
Unlike her predecessors, Fizzy does not join Psaro on his adventure or participate in (or even comment on) the events of the story. Instead, her main purpose is to manage the game's multiplayer features. Her services become available to the player upon winning Category G of the Endor tournament, and include the matchmaking for online battles as well as running her own shop, which rotates the available goods each day at 2:00 PM EST. Though Fizzy charges high fees, her shop is the only way to gain certain talent scrolls such as the Cleric and Sparkling Warder.
Fizzy is also the second-round opponent of Category S in the Maulosseum tournament. Her team consists of a crowgre, gangleclaw, greater platypink, and grandpa slime. If Psaro amasses a horde of 300 monsters, Fizzy will congratulate her rising star by calling in one of her apprentices to join the gang.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World[edit]
With Fluffy joining Bianca and Nera on their adventure and reclaiming his role from the original Dragon Quest Monsters as the player's guide, Fizzy instead accompanies Debora, having brought her to Witherwood in search of the leaves of life on the same night that the other two girls were recruited by Fluffy. She is well known to Fluffy and Scruffy, and also friendly with this world's Monty.
Fizzy remains easygoing and friendly, sharply contrasting her prickly protégé. She is delighted by King Withers' jokes, and enjoys teasing Ed and Scruffy. She eagerly agrees with Debora's demand to tag along on her sister's adventure, and remains with the party to dispense advice.
In addition to her story role, Fizzy continues to run a shop: this time, the Gauntlet Goods store that allows players to spend wrangler points earned in the Wrangler's Gauntlet mode on items such as monster eggs.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[edit]
Fizzy appeared in the game on November 30th, 2023 as part of the grand finale event signifying the end of the mobile title's service. She was drawn to the game's world when Scruffy opened teleportals to many other worlds in order to play more pranks.
