Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered WorldEdit
In the past, when the Archeagle Lucifus was overcome by darkness and fought with his fellow avian Michelos, Almira's prayer caused Michelos to be enveloped in golden light. When the dust settled, Michelos had disappeared and Lucifus fell into a deep sleep.
Shortly after, Almira was abducted by a follower of Lucifus and has not been seen since. The formerly vibrant Witherwood dried up and came to be known by its current name, and the Leaves of Life that were once common began to disappear until The Spelunk contained the last remaining patch of the flowers.
