The Monster Marathon is a minigame in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World. In this DLC-exclusive activity, the player dispatches a party of monsters to travel through various stages. The monsters are viewed from the side as in the game's menus, and can be instructed to move, jump and slow down. As they progress through the stages, the monsters can nab crafting items, experience points and gold, with an especially hefty reward if they make it to the end of the stage.
