Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World[edit]

Ed first appears when Bianca, Nera and Debora report back to King Withers about the unsuccessful outcome of their mission to The Spelunk. Ed and Scruffy barge into the girls' audience to complain to the King about their own unsuccessful quest: challenging Enorman at the Shrine of Serenity. Ed boasts that the girls couldn't possibly overcome a monster that was able to defeat him, but he and Scruffy begin squabbling with Fizzy and the meeting is able to resume.

Later, when the teleportal to Pays de l'Oseille is unlocked, he and Scruffy rush through to spread their legend to this new land before Bianca, Nera and their companions are able to pass through themselves.
