Humanoid Family (Japanese Kanji: 怪人 Hiragana:かいじん Romanji: Kaijin) refers to the grouping of monsters in Dragon Quest series that have a human-like form. In some games, due to lack of mundane humanoids, they are included in the Demon family.

The Humanoid is one of the more broadly-defined families, ranging from normal humans to goblins, imps, mythological "demi-humans" (such as the Satyr), and monstrous beings such as the Notso macho.

An example of a humanoid, the Sorcerer enemy.
