Cattle Prod is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It deals 50% more damage to beasts.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake[edit]

Cattle Prod is already known by the Hero at the beginning of the adventure. It costs 7 MP and deals 160% damage to beasts, and 110% damage to all other kinds of monsters. The souped-up version of Cattle Prod is Beast Bopper.

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake[edit]

Cattle Prod is already known by the Prince of Midenhall at the beginning of the adventure. It costs 7 MP and deals 160% damage to beasts, and 110% damage to all other kinds of monsters, and Beast Bopper remains as the souped-up version.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit]

This ability is learned with 13 skill points invested into Spear skill.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]

Serena and Jade learn the skill through their Spears section of the character builder for 3 points. It costs 2 MP to use, and now adds 5 points of damage after normal calculation.
