The devil armour is armour that has so far only appeared in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.
Localization history[edit]
Devil armour was literally translated from its Japanese name in the 2009 localization of Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. This translation was retired in 2025 with the localization of Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake opting to match the Japanese naming scheme and have the gear share the same name as the harmour in both languages.

The devil armour has a Defence bonus of +65, and can only be equipped by certain monster companions. One can be found in Talon Tower and by chance drops by moosifers and beastmasters. It can be sold for 4,500 gold coins.
