The Hades' helm is a headgear equipment in the Dragon Quest series. It is a purple helmet with yellow horn-like protrusions and has a mask of a horribly disfigured face.

The Hades' helm has a defence bonus of +30. It can only be worn by certain monster companions.
Dragon Quest VIII
The Hades' helm has a defence bonus of +33....but it's cursed. It can be sold for 4,250 gold. The Hero and Yangus can equip it.
