The Maneater is a boss in the game Dragon Quest VII.
Story
The Maneater disguises itself as Neris in order to force Zaji to take up the SoulSword against Kasim.
Strategy
The Maneater's spells are tough to deal with, especially since you can't answer in kind. The Magic Robes from the casino can mute the damage from these spells if won and equipped. Give Maribel the WondeRock and have the Hero and Gabo attack normally. Even without the use of magic, the Maneater isn't that difficult a boss to beat.
