Gourmand (おおぐらい ōgurai, translated as unique in the Game Boy Color version of Dragon Quest III) is a personality in the Dragon Quest III remakes, in Dragon Quest X, and in Dragon Quest: Monster Parade.

In the Dragon Quest III remakes, gourmand is a personality that improves strength and resilience growth, but reduces agility, wisdom, and luck growth.
The hero cannot become a gourmand at the start of the game.
Other party members have a chance to be a gourmand when recruited as any class, depending on their stat bonuses.
An existing character cannot become a gourmand through items.
